Jamie Kleidman

Of Counsel

Jamie Kleidman is an experienced litigator and investigator who brings more than fifteen years of courtroom, investigative, and institutional leadership experience to Bergstein Flynn Knowlton & Pollina PLLC. At BFKP, Jamie focuses her practice on litigation and investigations, including complex commercial and real estate disputes. Drawing on her extensive trial and investigative background, she works with clients to develop practical, strategic approaches to disputes from the earliest stages of a matter through resolution.

Prior to joining BFKP, Jamie served in senior leadership roles in Columbia University’s Office of Institutional Equity, most recently as Interim Director of its Student Anti-Discrimination & Discriminatory Harassment Division. In that role, Jamie managed a team of attorneys and analysts responsible for investigating alleged violations of University policy, advised senior University leadership and the Office of General Counsel on investigative and policy matters, and helped develop and implement policies and procedures addressing discrimination and harassment.

Before joining Columbia, Jamie spent nearly twelve years as an Assistant District Attorney in the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office. During her tenure, she handled more than 1,000 investigations and prosecutions involving matters ranging from homicide and violent crime to sex crimes, firearms trafficking, domestic violence, financial crimes, and cybercrime.
