Michael Flynn

PARTNER

Michael Flynn spent the first eight years of his legal career as an associate in the Manhattan-based law firm of Patterson Belknap Webb & Tyler LLP, where he represented both individual and corporate clients in the selling, buying, leasing, and financing of residential and commercial real estate. Mike helped to negotiate and close some of the most sophisticated real estate deals in New York City and on Long Island, giving him a reputation as an efficient and effective transactional attorney.

In the wake of the 2008 financial crisis, Mike was a member of the firm’s Mortgage and Credit Crisis Team, which represented the largest monoline insurance companies in filing residential mortgage-backed securities litigation claims against mortgage originators and investment banks.

Since leaving Patterson Belknap, Mike has focused on building his transactional real estate practice, while also advising on corporate formation and structuring. Today, as a partner at Bergstein Flynn Knowlton & Pollina PLLC, his goal is to provide quality counsel to real estate buyers, developers, and other clients in the fast-evolving New York market.
